Prof. Dr. Yu-Dong Zhang

Prof. Dr. Yu-Dong Zhang (Eugene) worked as a postdoc from 2010 to 2012 with Columbia University, USA, and as an Assistant Research Scientist from 2012 to 2013 with the Research Foundation of Mental Hygiene (RFMH), USA. He served as a Full Professor from 2013 to 2017 with Nanjing Normal University. Now he serves as a professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. His research interests include deep learning and medical image analysis. He is the Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Fellow of BCS. He is the Senior Member of IEEE, IES, and ACM. He is the Distinguished Speaker of ACM. He was included in Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Computer Science) by Elsevier from 2014 to 2018. He was the 2019 & 2021 recipient of Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate. He won the Emerald Citation of Excellence 2017 and MDPI Top 10 Most Cited Papers 2015. He is included in Top Scientist in Research.com. There are more than 50 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 5 ESI Hot Papers in his (co)authored publications. His citation reached 21143 in Google Scholar (h-index 81) and 12418 in Web of Science (h-index 61). He has conducted many successful industrial projects and academic grants from NIH, Royal Society, GCRF, EPSRC, MRC, Hope, British Council, and NSFC. Prof. Yannis Manolopoulos

Yannis Manolopoulos is a distinguished academic with a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he earned his Diploma and Ph.D. degrees. Currently, he serves as Professor at the Open University of Cyprus and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Aristotle University. He is also a member of the Board at the University of Macedonia and Academia Europaea in London. Throughout his career, he has held significant leadership roles including Vice-Rector at the Open University of Cyprus and President of the Board at the University of Western Macedonia. His research in Data Management is prolific, encompassing 6 monographs, 10 textbooks, and over 350 papers published in journals and conferences worldwide. Highly cited, with an h-index of 62, he has received numerous accolades including best paper awards from prestigious conferences. Dr. Manolopoulos is deeply engaged in the academic community, serving on editorial boards for several prominent journals and contributing as a keynote speaker and examiner in doctoral committees internationally. His influence extends to organizing conferences globally and mentoring doctoral graduates who have pursued careers across Europe and the United States.

Prof. Valentina E. Balas

Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. Cum Laude, in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 400 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national, international projects She is a member of European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT), member of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and a Senior Member IEEE, member in Technical Committee – Fuzzy Systems (IEEE Computational Intelligence Society). Dr. Balas was past Vice President (awards) of IFSA -International Fuzzy Systems Association Council(2013-2015), is a Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM), - A Multidisciplinary Academic Body, India and recipient of the "Tudor Tanasescu" Prize from the Romanian Academy for contributions in the field of soft computing methods (2019).

Dr. Tzung-Pei Hong

Dr. Tzung-Pei Hong received his Ph.D. degree in computer science and information engineering from National Chiao-Tung University in 1992. He was an associate professor in Chung-Hua Polytechnic Institute from 1992 to 1994 and in I-Shou University from 1994 to 1999. He served as the first director of the Library and Computer Center, the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Administrative Vice President, and the Academic Vice President in National University of Kaohsiung. He is currently a chair professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering and the director of the AI Research Center in National University of Kaohsiung. He has published more than 600 research papers in international/national journals and conferences and has planned more than fifty information systems. His current research interests include data mining, artificial intelligence, soft computing and information system.

Dr. S. Satheeskumaran

Prof. S. Satheeskumaran is the Dean of Research and Development at Anurag University, Hyderabad, India. He is also a professor in the ECE Department. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in teaching, industry, and research, his interests lie in signal processing, computer vision, machine learning, and digital healthcare. Dr. Satheeskumaran secured a research grant of 1.16 crores from the DST, Government of India, for the development of innovative programmable wood processing tools. Under his leadership, the ECE department of Anurag University secured 3 crores in funding from government agencies and established a research center in VLSI chip design. Recognizing his exceptional research contributions, Dr. Satheeskumaran has been appointed as an editorial board member, guest editor, and volume editor for renowned publishers such as Inderscience, Emerald, and Springer. His scholarly achievements include the publication of over 50 research papers in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and well-regarded conferences.
